The first week in art, kindergarten students discussed LINES and the importance of lines in art.  We discussed all the different lines we could think of and then put those lines on paper.  Students made straight lines, curvy lines, zig zag lines, bumpy lines, thick lines, thin lines... the list goes on and on! Kindergarten students are adjusting well to the art room procedures and I am enjoying getting to know them!
