We sure had an abundance of creativity when working with the iPads last spring! Students created art with photo manipulation, stop motion animation, and a fun app that turn a drawing into a talking head! Artwork created by former 6th grade, 4th grade, and 3rd grade students can be found below under the links provided. One of the last projects 6th grade students work on in the art room is a collaborative stop motion animation movie using the iPad minis. They also created their own soundtrack to their movie using music making apps in Mr. Scott's music class. Click the link below to watch! 3rd grade students learned about the artist Frida Kahlo and the country Mexico, where she is from. After creating their own self portraits, students used the iPad minis to make their self portraits come to life! 4th grade students created artwork inspired by Louisiana artist George Rodrique, known for his Blue Dog paintings. Then, using the iPads, students put their animal they painted in a whole new background. We really had a fun time with this project! |
